About Chain Blast
Chain Blast is a chain-reaction puzzle on a board of 56 glowing orbs in six colours. One tap sets off an orb and every same-coloured orb linked to it, and the score grows with the square of the chain length.
How to play Chain Blast
- Press Ignite to open the board: 7 columns by 8 rows of orbs.
- Faint lines connect orbs of the same colour that are close enough to link. Links reach up to two cells away, including diagonals.
- Tap an orb. It explodes along with every orb connected to it through those links.
- Each tap uses one of your taps (you start with 10). A lone orb can be popped too, but it still costs a tap.
- Clear every orb to move to the next round: the board refills, the round multiplier goes up and you get 3 taps back (up to 10). The game ends when your taps run out.

Tips for a higher score
- Because points grow with the square of the chain, one 12-orb chain beats three 4-orb chains by a wide margin.
- Pop small, isolated groups that separate two big groups of the same colour — only if doing so lets them merge. Otherwise save your taps.
- Clearing the board is worth more than any single chain: it refunds taps and raises the multiplier for everything after it.
- Follow the faint connection lines before tapping; they show exactly which orbs will go off.
